Famili Next Care is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles, and the Spam Act 2003.

– Emergency or advocate contact details

– Diversity information, such as ethnicity or lifestyle preferences 

We collect information directly from you wherever possible. 

In some cases, we may collect information from your family, advocate, doctor, or other service providers, only where consent is provided or legally required. 

You may withdraw consent at any time, though this may affect the services we provide.

– Medical practitioners, hospitals, and emergency services 

– The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or other government organisations 

– Your nominated advocate, family members, or emergency contacts 

We do not share your information overseas.

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

You have the right to access personal information we hold about you and request corrections if inaccurate. 

Requests may require proof of identity. We aim to respond within seven (7) days. 

 

  1. Employee and Volunteer Information

Employee information is managed under workplace laws. Volunteer data is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act.

If your information is lost, stolen, or accessed without authorisation, we will follow our Data Breach Policy in line with legal requirements.
